>>248852keep moving and the blood flowing. id decide whether or not to build a fire based off how cold it is. i've hiked in below freezing temperatures with soaked boots and they will warm up. done plenty of stream crossings in ~32 degree weather. but i've never had a wet boot in under 10 degrees f so idk if your bodyheat is still enough to dry them once it gets that cold. i personally would keep moving to my car if i was only an hour away. if you feel like your health is seriously in danger fucking ignore that law and take care of yourself
