something that was strange was that you americans seem to be able to buy big bags of crushed ice pretty much everywhere.
I have never seen that in my country and have asked around and nope no luck except some places that have offered to sell dry ice so i have had to make due with 4 of these freezer packs.
But it's far from optimal, really only the fish that is directly in contact with the freezer pack will actually get chilled.
What is the alternative? I tried stacking 10 ice cube trays in the freezer but it wasn't nearly enough ice and by the time I got home it had all melted.
I guess I could just throw a big ass pot of water into the freezer and then smash it into pieces but that doesn't seem sanitary because I'd be scooping up dirt and stuff off the floor with the ice.
help?
