>>2691166Fair point with the acting, I guess, but I meant more along the lines of just not acting like a spastic. Just waving at someone and being courteousis is mostly enough to set people at ease. If you act all twitchy and shit you're going to get weird looks at best, and the cops called at worst, and I think that's most places on earth.
If I'm wild camping I usually make a hole fire if I'm still pretty close to towns and such. There's also a place right out side of the town I live in that I make huge camp fires. No one comes out to bother you there. You just gotta know where.
When it gets warmer I'll do something and take photos as proof. I don't feel like freezing my balls off alone for funzies at the moment. It's getting down into the -10s here.
