You could also have timed firecrackers or weights to fall down so the hunters think you are making lots of noise.
Make fake trails where you have been, but go in a completely different direction. Always stay in the shadows. It will be better for you if it is raining or bad weather. Find very dense patches of foliage and crawl in.
