>>1885137>Actually, if those brown spots on the edge are spores and not the flesh staining or something,nah those weren't crep, i checked underneath and they were growing with stems and smelled like oyster, while crep is sessile. The black is from dropping it on the dirt :(
though you're right, crep does resemble oysters, here's some I found a few weeks growing less than 10 yds away from some oysters. You can also see that crepidotus spores are more rusty brown colored
