as a general rule if youre not a handy person you wont really see the uses of it.
i never used one until i did construction work, after learning the ins and outs of tools and the like i really began to appreciate the multitool as a great jack of all trades and master of none. i would still use it at work in place of screwdrivers and stuff sometimes because it was right there in your pocket. big timesaver.
if im at home i almost always use normal tools.
im thinking of buying a kydex sheath for my wave, but i cant seem to find one that has a locking system on it. ive almost lost my wave at work around 5 times because leatherman sheaths are absolute shit.
