When I'm racing, it's shooting video.
If I'm just out riding, I'll set it to take a photo every second. Click it on, look at something for a few seconds or go through a technical section/whatever, then click it off... odds are I got a decent photo of it.
And it's a hell of a lot easier to deal with a pile of photos than video IMO.... flip through and save the good ones, then wipe the card.
The camera will also do up to 1/4-sec shutter speeds in still mode, so if you're shooting at night, you get significantly better exposures than with video. Pic related.
Editing 60fps video requires software that can handle 60fps, and doesn't just dump frames when it imports.
