Last year, I went through my Dad's old storage building, and found two (brittle and bent) tackle boxes full of plastics that I used in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
The worms are still fine, even though the boxes are aged and warped up.
So I know from experience that it's fine to keep plastics in a tackle box, since I've been doing it since before you were born.
