>>875782I agree with that. Depending what you are fishing for, that is a lot of weight on a thin wire so it might be better left to the pros. I still think hooks are overpriced for what they are, but even on a bad weekend with lots of snags, I might lose $5 worth of hooks. Not enough to make me attempt to build my own.
I do like seeing the homemade stuff as long as the anons making it aren't trying to convince themselves that they are the exact same thing you get at Bass Pro.
And I think even at Walmart, Eagle Claws still run like $2.47 for the 5pk of worm hooks. The one thing they got the best pricing on is the lead bullet weights at 98¢ (which is still way more than they are worth) because Bass Pro only sells their stupid expensive painted ones in-store and cost like 4 times as much.
