Last year, Kyanjin Ri in the Langtang region of Nepal, wanted to take my money to that area, been devastated by an earthquake a few years prior. One "town" got literally deleted by a landslide, nobody was recovered from under the rocks, its basically a mass grave we walked over. The peak was 4800 meters, there is Tserko Ri peak tho with almost 5000, but I decided not to try that, was furter and higher. As a guy who lives in a country that is mostly 200m alt and the highest mountain is 1000m, i was suffering a lot, no AMS luckily.
