>>138856well! before we turned that part of the yard into a garden, it was all grass. we pulled that, tilled the soil (which was pretty much all clay) and have been adding in stuff to break it up every year. this year we added a mix of horse manure, perlite, coconut husk, worm castings, and some other stuff that i can't quite remember. a local nursery made the mix.
>>138944are you planting it in the ground or in a container? in my experience, mint is pain in the ass to control. i'd plant mint in it's own container.
