Check out, "WEBM for Retards," for converting pretty much everything into a webm. It is easy and straight forward to use most of the time. Here's a tutorial used for the Gondola threads on
>>>/wsg/ just don't change the framerate if you are doing stop animation/timelapse or at least watch through to make sure it is correct after changing it. Also, no music/sound for anyplace outside of /wsg/ or
>>>/gif/. I usually input 2.98 into the file size thing for normal boards and 3.98 for /wsg/ since there's a bit of error margin at how accurate it can get to 3mb and 4mb. Watch out for it cutting off ends of videos sometimes (rare). I just add a bit of blank time to the end of them to work around that so it cuts off the blank parts instead. With short video you can sometimes just use "Variable" and check the "Enable high quality mode" box and it will pop out a file size under the size limit, which is nice. Like your gif file went down to 569KB when converted to webm using that.
