I'm a little surprised that nature documentaries haven't been mentioned yet, for example Frozen Planet II, which is currently airing, and others narrated by David Attenborough.
Series I would recommend are 1883(2021), which is a Yellowstone prequel and tells the story of a wagon train moving west, and Dead Mountain(2020) that is about the famous Dyatlov Pass incident and its investigation.
>>2470606It's a little weird indeed, maybe shouldn't have mentioned it, movies and series which have a female lead tend to be more about drama and character development in general, there's a surprising amount of survival series with female protagonist recently: Breathe(2022), Yellowjackets(2021), The Wilds(2020); none of which I can recommend due to that reason.
