>>2299203The tiny CRKT SPEW was the first fixed blade that made me realize how comfy it was, then I rocked an Esee Izula for a couple years and used it daily and it was perfect, and now I have the tiny Esee Candiru because some normies get weird about anything besides a box cutter. It sits above my left pocket with the handle pointing towards my belt buckle so it’s super easy to grab with my right hand.
It was hard to EDC a fixed blade because all the normies saw a hunting knife or whatever they thought it was plus the handle sticking up would dig into my stomach when I turned or leaned certain ways, but with the horizontal sheath, none of those are issues and I don’t need to carry more shit around in my pockets like with a folder.
Downside is sometimes when I’m going somewhere with security, I forget the thing is on my belt.
