I don't have a Ferrari dealership nearby but anything I need to purchase is within an hour and a half drive at the most extreme- there's a Walmart about 30 miles away.
If I think about real world comparisons, its taken me the same amount of time in heavy traffic in Vegas to go to Walmart that was only 4 miles away. Home depot/ Lowes are about 50 minutes away.
I plan shopping out ahead of time. If I start making dinner and realize I'm out of milk or butter or something, I might have to make a different dish.
Gas is something you pay attention to- can't just run down to the corner at midnight to fill up.
As for wildlife, I have everything.
Deer, turkey, quail, dove, squirrel, raccoon, fox, coyote, bobcat, beavers, bald eagles, armadillos, opossums, great owls, red shouldered hawks, Mississippi kites, hummingbirds, cardinals, blue jays, rattlesnakes, copperheads, cottonmouths, kingsnakes, garter snakes, mud snakes, black racers, box turtles, gopher tortoises, red eared sliders, pine tree frogs....
Those are animals I can remember off the top of my head that I've seen on-property.
