Regardless of how bad she looked (and she looked bad, dude) he somehow found value it the relationship enough to still perform such an intrinsically motivated task. You will never find someone that will give you everything you want, but if you try hard enough you will find someone who will provide things you never new your needed, and challenge your norms. I dunno anon I’m drunk and maybe you don’t necesswrily need a girlfriend but I know that you need other humans in your life. It’s part of your biology, your brain is wired for it. I have moments where I would get annoyed by my girl and I say “it’s not meant to be” but when I look back I realize that she has not only solved the challenges of my past but provided BETTER challenges for me to face today. And that’s life man, own up to your challenges and do SOMETHING to compete them. You will always know when you are running away and when you are trying.
