I've seen top to bottom in 70 ft of water in the Gulf ~12nm off Anna Maria. The water in the Keys is gin-clear. The water temperature is amazing — I get to dive in a speedo. There are structures, reefs, fish to shoot, wrecks...hell I even dove on old tanks. But have fun scooting along some gravel at the bottom of a cold lake in your thick-ass wetsuit, shooting nasty suckers and carp if you even spearfish.
