I was previously told by /out/ to dry bonchi-ing these guys. They are Black Hungarian chilies. After their first hard pruning they came back amazingly, but only sent out new leaves at the very peripheral ends of the two stem branches, so I trimmed everything again (after leaving them for a few weeks to soak up some energy). I was hoping this would make them produce more compact and central growth, but it's been a week and I've seen nothing coming out of the stems. I chopped off a 1cm piece of one stem and the inside was still green, but no growth or even appearance of buds at any joints. Did I fuck up? How long do peppers usually take to rebound after a pruning? The first time around they came back so quickly, not so much now.
