The moral of this thread is "just do it", shitting myself knocking on her door this morning, but as soon as we were in the car it was a perfect day. Until we broke down ten minutes from her house on the return, she had to walk because otherwise she would have pissed her self, I was on the edge, but I got carried back home on the back of a truck and dumped it at the local garage, alternator's gone.
