>>1823402>>1823416>>1823402In almost all lakes pike are always in the weeds. In most lakes after about 72°F the big ones move out to about 20-40 FOW and suspend above a thermocline. Musky do the same thing. That said, I caught pic related casting a weedline near a steep dropoff near sunset, and it's certainly not uncommon for huge weedline pike in the summer, and I've got big musky in shallow lilypads too.
