OP here. I found a storage unit and the next step is the bike. Any advice? I have the basics; knife, crate and water containers, two duffles, book bag, etc. I reckon two jackets and a rain outfit with a dozen socks. Maybe two pair boot one pair water shoes or sneakers.
There are bike trails that run along the coastal highways. Thanks again to all for the advice. I picked out my two favorite fishing poles to bring with a Fanny pack and tackle box. An older woman at work today told me $500 wasn’t enough to last more than a week or two. I’m going to aim for $1000 by the end of the month.
