>>258363Hey Diverfag,
You seem to know your shit. Would you mind helping me out with a couple of quandaries that I have been having regarding getting into diving?
First of all I am interested in getting into diving as soon as possible, but realistically in order to do the open water dives for base level certification then I will have to wait until summer.
That being said I'm game to start looking at gear/getting my saving in order to actually start when the weather improves.
Could you offer some advice regarding outfitting a scuba n00b with some decent gear that wont utterly muller my pocket book? I will probably be diving in conditions like
>>257363outlined. Would $800-$1500 be reasonable to get some decent shit? I'm aware that certification is a fair chunk of change aswell, but what would a reasonable dive shop charge for a basic openwater/PADI cert? Looking to work up to 20m-30m dives if that changes some parameters with the gear.
TL;DR: N00b, advice plz!
