When it gets too hot to hold dip in coolant. That is how I do my HSS cutters for my lathe. My main concern isn't material removal, so much as removing the material without fucking up the overall pattern of the blade.
ie. should I just try and round out the cutting side of the blade where its broken or should I reprofile the whole edge or should I sharpen with coarse stones until the chip is gone etc?
I have a very outfitted wood and metal working shop, so assume no tools are off the table. Any ideas?
