It was low tide though so I couldnt cast out far enough.
Couldn't see where the thing landed most of the time and when I reeled in so no line was in water it usually ended up getting sent back to me via waves.
Then when I got home noticed a ring of line loose on my reel. It got so tangled I lost a bunch of line having to cut it to get it out of the bottom of the reel. (It was tangled in the part of reel nothing should have been in.
Should I just rip all the line off and pay a sporting goods store to re rig it for me?

Maybe instead of jig and grub I should just buy a baitfish bait or something like those little yellow things or worms and set up a bobber.
How do I set up a bobber thing for that?
