I got one of those patagonia pullovers for free a few years back. I bring it on every hike in case of rain. It works great but def doesn't breath if you were really hoofing it. But imo if you are caught in a full down pour for more than 30mins you are gonna get wet in some way or another, as long as your core stays dry who cares. Only way to stay completely dry is to hunker down or be some complete retard who has gators and like 600 dollars worth of rain gear. I guess I cant judge if your thing is to go hiking when you know its really gonna rain.
