I'd like to make a menu for a 2-night trip in the Scottish Highlands. Clean water is abundant in my area of choice, so stuff I can just add water to and put on the stove is ideal. So far I'm thinking:
>Some kind of bagged mixture of oats, dried berries, nuts, seeds, powdered milk etc that I can dip into for breakfasts>The obvious trail mix, jerky, nut/protein bars, canned kalakukko, dry salami>Bagged mixture of couscous, crumbled vegetable stock, dried onions...Any ideas what else I could add to the couscous that can be bought in the average supermarket?
Smoked salmon perhaps?
