Here you can see how they are also very dependent on their settings, namely focus, brightness and contrast and while some may argue automatic works, just like cameras, there's a setting that works better for each applications and sometimes automatic wont be working for you. Similarly the level of zoom may change what you need or want, WHOT/BHOT as well. And notice how snow still is making a mess.
