>>432096This was a quilt, so no zipper. I did realize that the foot end wasn't big enough, so I added the gray "flaps" seen in this picture after my first night out with it. There are a total of three straps or snaps up and down the back, which didn't really work out going around a pad, but worked fine going under my body. You also kind of need a bivy when using a quilt, since it's drafty otherwise.
