I've heard so so things about the sheath and a small number of people seem to thing Becker scales are too slippery, but people seem to rave about the blade itself. If I need to replace both the scales ($30 for micarta) and sheath would I be better off just buying a different knife? I am also kind of considering the ESEE 5 but I cant really justify dropping nearly twice as much on a knife that is gonna preform very similarly.
