Nowadays my parents would probably be called and I would be removed from them and put on some social worker care.I think I got pic related (though back in the day it still had a pointy tip) when I was old enough to go to kindergarden alone. Still have it (though I replaced it with an identical one) on my keychain. It's a tad smaller than the standard SAK and with knife, saw and scredriver, it has all you need daily and nothing more.
And I'll probably do the same with my kid (no matter the gender), should I have one. But yeah, kinda afraid that people will be retarded about it.
