LA is probably what you're looking for.
>>895809>>895821What you described happens to a lot of people, I'm curious if your experience helped you decide what you wanted to do in life and if you're still working a poverty tier job to avoid going back that situation? It'd be nice if young adults, 17-25 or so, had specific hostels and networks in place so that they didn't have to instantly go get a job or go right into college, or be forced to live in shelters or with their aging parents in a dying community.
The AT hike, which so many college students go on during break or between graduation and their career, should be available to them before they commit to a life or career. By the time the kids get out and go on an adult adventure they've already "decided" who they're going to be, making the adventure just another scheduled event on a timeline that has an itinerary dictating how the adventure must end in 2 weeks, or 6 months, or whatever the date is. Life is very different when you can actually just sit down and watch the day go by without worrying about school, or work, or bills, or getting back to those things.
