>>2628738I got pic rel from a bass pro and they're pretty good in sand. They don't get too much sand in them vs. other kinds of water shoes that are more open-toe/feet style. Certain parts of an inlet I was walking up had me sinking ankle deep but was able to pull my feet out with the shoes not coming off pretty easily. Grip isn't great on wet mossy rocks but I think that's just how rubber is. I would recommend shoes with laces vs. slip on water shoes if you think your feet might sink into the sand so you don't end up losing a shoe.
