This tomato's been sitting on my counter for a couple weeks, I think. Many of the seeds started to sprout internally and press up against the skin, but one of the seedlings actually managed to break through the skin and start growing out of it.
If I wanted to plant this in a big pot and potentially get a tomato plant out of it, could I just shove the whole tomato just under the soil with the seedling protruding a bit, or would I need to try and cut the tomato open to extract the seedling and plant it in the dirt by itself?
