Here lads, on the subject of biting bugs this stuff is the dogs swingers.
Our lass got it to spray on me when going into shops because it has citriodiol in it which is what they were testing on our lads in the army. So last weekend we were being eaten alive by midgies when we stopped for elevensies at joint rock I got the bottle out that was in my bag. I sprayed me, our nige and the nipper with it and immediately these rabid Ceratopogonidae flocked to the two dogs. Next we sprayed our hands then rubbed this stuff into the dogs collars and my rucksack on the floor and that was that midge cunts gone. On a side note nige found a weird almost cigar like lump on his dogs neck he thought was a tick, it was gone when he'd gotten home and wanted to extract it.
If we do manage a Yorkshire meet up I got a couple of good ' bushcraft ' sites we could use one allows target practice but is near a dodgy area the other is more a scout camping field where you get left alone but is in nidd valley and is beautiful at night.
