Chartruese tail stuff gets me like that all the time. Bluegill can't resist that bright tail.

I heard a theory before that sometimes the gold swivels and stuff on a crank or other lure can look like another fish with a tiny baitfish in its mouth and the bluegill will try and hit the lure thinking that it will drop the tiny fish (gold swivel) and get an easy meal.

What worms are you using? And are the 2/0 and 3/0 hooks EWG or regular ones? Maybe you need something like the Zoom Finesse Worms with a 3/0 EWG on there. That will give you great chances of hooking them.

Yeah that's what I figured. Glad I stayed away. I have so many different colors but I'm down with moss green.

The Vermillion Red on the one combo looks decent, but I don't like running it in real clear water without a long flouro leader. I also have a spool of PowerPro Super Slick #40 in this funky moss green color. Just realized my big Ugly Stik combo also has Vermillion Red on it, doesn't look as pink as the Pflueger though.
