It is 7000 to 8000 feet. There are kitchens. The food is not strictly vegan, but strictly vegan food is available for free.
Water. A most critical molecule for human life. I hear it is about 2 miles of hiking, which may translate to 4 miles of hiking. You need to bring a lot of water. At least 5 gallons. Seriously do not come without water (and additionally if possible life straws).
The police are likely pulling people over and scrutinizing everything. Since weed is illegal in Colorado all drug dogs have become neurotic and will trigger on any and every car that refuses search. So you are going to be searched.
I have no idea who the people conducting the searches will be. I suspect they will be getting paid overtime pay for being there. They might be in a good mood because gas is expensive and they are getting paid to not take a vacation while taking a vacation in the woods.
There are lame people everywhere, however the presence of law enforcement ensures that people engaged in illegal activity are stressed out while doing so. So if you don't like being a little bit stressed out be forewarned that some of the most advanced monitoring systems in the history of humankind have been deployed to monitor us/ya'll. Like the Ledger for recording Bitcoin transactions every attractive person you see is hashing you. You are in a monitoring fabric. It is amazing to see the fabric and the vectors used to reduce our unique faces into a collection of numerical values.
Water and warm clothes and a tarp (at the very least) and a tent (ideally). Bring some tobacco or legal things for trading. I have a few sewing kits that I want to trade / offer.
I love you all and hope for you to have the best. IF you get to be free of all this hassle of daily life for 5 minutes (or 20 minutes) I might see you in this oasis of weird. Keep it weird. Experience the unlikely.
Would be epic to see /out inject itself /stand beside the Rainbow Warriors.
