There's a small creek on my property, maybe two inches deep and twelve feet wide. It currently houses no fish. How would I go along with making it deeper and wider so I could eventually introduce fish into it? I have a big tree at about a 45 degree angle that I have to cut down, maybe 17 inches in diameter. If I cut it down and place the trunk on the creek, could it catch water and raise the water levels?
