Multiple times at the little pond down the street, I have been fishing at dusk and I see the baitfish running around near the surface in shallow water as bass are chasing them. Tried tons of different baitfish replica lures hoping to match what the bass were eating and wasn’t having luck. So I tied up a T-rig with a little finesse worm and ran it along the bottom and was landing bass after bass. Not a one time thing either, happened multiple times.
It was almost like the bass saw an easy opportunity instead of chasing around the baitfish and decided to go for the worm instead.
