>>875804Ohh, yeah now I remember that thread. About Portugal, well as you probably now already the best out here is the beach, there's no other way around it. I live up north but the sourthern coast has some great locations for wildcamp if you chose right.
Other than praia(beach) we have Gerês, the most important and best national park in the country. It's located up the north near Braga and goes all the way to the Spanish side of the border. During the summer as you can imagine there's many people there but it's still very nice. There's a few private campgrounds but the prices are cheap.
If you want to wildcamp just be smart and you can get away with it despite being illegal because they don't really spent the nights looking for people. Just be very careful if you make a fire, there are heavy fines because some retards do not care and then we end with huge forestal fires. This summer for example was a nightmare.
Other than Gerês there's also Serra da Estrela, in mainland it's the highest mountain in the country. It has the particularity that you can reach the summit(~2000meters) by car.
And then there's a lot of smaller natural parks all over the country. Overall I think it's a reasonable good /out/ country but don't expect to find true wilderness, there's always roads one or two hours walking in any direction.
If you have any question feel free to ask.
