>>902599you got it; they have a little convenience store near their office. Up the hill just a little ways is some sort of park. Theme park? Sea-World-esque location? I can't really remember the details.
I woke up in the morning, lucky to be alive. I can still clearly recall the feeling of having not died of hypothermia, and being humbled before mother nature's onslaught; but it was time to keep moving. My jacket and pants were dry enough to wear, so I packed up my over-meager belongings (I brought some things that I could have done without) and started up the road. I walked out of Presque Isle and back up that hill, stopping briefly to eat some oats mixed with water and cranberries, and proceeded to route 20. I walked maybe 7-10 miles, where I passed through some town I can't even remember. I refilled my gallon jug of water at at family diner, then went outside to rest.
Outside the diner, I spotted some clovers and dandelion greens, which I remembered were edible. I started to pick them, throwing them in a bag to eat later. An employee came out to smoke a cigarette on her break, and saw me picking the edibles. There's a good chance that she ended up laughing at me to her coworkers, but she was probably more shocked to see some dude in a flectarn jacket picking clovers out of the grass.
