Did the camping thing, summer and winter, through boy scouts.
Enjoyed shooting, but my mom was (still is) somewhat anti-gun; didn't want one in the house.
Always wanted something more exciting, I guess.
Wasn't till I moved out that I started picking up more high-octane hobbies. Rode motos a couple times with friends that had them. Rodeo started off as a bet from a friend who knew I had solid experience on a horse.
After college, when I had steady income and a house/garage is when I really got into motorsports.
I kind of miss rodeo... Still have all my gear, not actively looking to get back in the arena but if someone gave me the opportunity I don't think I'd say no.
Snowmobiles and dirtmobiles do a good job keeping the adrenaline in my system.
