Everybody can have their preferences but I'm sick of seeing Easterners denigrate Western nature and vice versa. I grew up in the West but love the east too. The lushness and humidity is calming to me and makes me feel such a different feeling than the vast dry deserts or mountainous landscapes. In the west I feel I am conquering nature, in the dense overgrown forests of the east I feel as if I am discovering nature.
I refuse to have this petty bickering destroy our love for nature.
