>Which starting for the south section would you recommend?Depends on what sort of condition your legs. I'd basically work out how many 'warm up' days you want then go that far north of Dana. All the best stuff is south of Dana. I'd probably start in Karak. As it's easy to get to and give you a couple of days of non-remote, easy hiking to get your head around the country. IMO to make the southern section easy you need to be comfortable hiking 20-25 miles a day. Otherwise you are looking at some big water carries or having to pay 200JD/215GBP/280USD for a water drop.
