One time I was visiting a cave on a weekend and came across a woman drinking water at the entrance. I came up behind her and she didn’t hear me so I said howdy. This is rare and I only did it because I felt the necessity as her family was deep inside the cave. Without a doubt leading to her feeling very uncomfortable if I said nothing and just appeared.
