>>1198723>>1198724In Florida the "soil" is almost entirely sand and limestone, hence why I'm totally unfamiliar with clay. Can't even make proper mud with it. Doubt you'd find anything in the way of useful minerals that wasn't leftover from human development. This would mostly be applicable for going up north past Alabama/Georgia where the woods aren't just miserable swamps. At least I can mine for fish down here...
