I have a tanto style Benchmade knife, and I've come to realize that this blade style is pretty stupid. The "bend" interrupts the edge, and although the long edge is fine, the short edge is totally useless. I hate it. I do, however, really like the reverse-tanto. It seems to be everything the tanto is supposed to provide (reinforced, thicker blade end, while still maintaining a nice curve to the edge and a useable tip). Am I alone in this?
