Paulides is a greedy boomer, but I also think he that he unironically believes the shit he's saying and that It's not just some act on his part. I don't really have much of an opinion on Bigfoot, but I will say that I did find Les Stroud account interesting. He said that he heard hooping and whooping noises akin to those of a chimpanzee that were coming from just out of sight, beyond the tree line, and that when he reached for his camera, whatever it was went crashing through the woods in retreat. He said it sounded "like a locomotive." So, what the fuck was that? I do not believe that he was lying. He had absolutely no reason to lie about something like that and it's only hurt his career and public image overall. I think he was telling the truth. So, what could that have been? It had to be a very large animal to sound "like a locomotive" as it crashed through the forest. What's big enough to do that in Alaska? A bear and a moose. That's about it really, and neither one of those makes ape-like whooping and hooping noises. This one little anecdote all by itself is fairly compelling to me because, as I said, I simply do not believe that he's lying. The only explanations for this are that either there's a Silver Back Gorilla escaped from a zoo that's running around in the remote forests of Alaska, or it was some kind of large, unknown apelike creature, which sounds a lot like Bigfoot to me.
