>Kathmandu Interloper 70L + 20L Detachable
I've done two 3-day hikes with this on, the first one sucked because it wasn't fitted correctly and the hip-belt was completely loose, the second was a lot better and super comfortable. Pretty much no organisation which has it's pros and cons; it can open up from the front like a suitcase which is a game changer though. I mainly got it cause it was on an insane sale price and I'm prepping to leave the country for a long time soon. Comes in handy on road trips as well. The parts of the backpack that aren't made with the more durable fabric have had mould come and go though, that's probably more my fault but it's annoying...
>Dell backpack that came with my laptop
Small but I'm not putting much in it anyway
>Osprey rook 50
The bag I got because I decided the kathmandu one was too big for hiking. It has that mesh back panel thing that definitely is nice on hot Australian hikes. The main/bottom compartment separator is a little bit weird, it's a piece of fabric about 3 quarters down the compartment strapped to the inside, I can fit everything I need in there so it's good enough for me. And you can tell the material is super durable.
>Random $50 bag
Carry-on size bag that I can easily fit a week of warm-weather clothing in, plus room to spare. It's cheap and light and allows me to not wait for my bag at the airport. It's not very comfortable so maybe one day after getting home from a week in some foreign country and having a sore back I'll replace it with the osprey farpoint but no need to do that just yet. Surprisingly mould resistant I've noticed.
