>>1808620That's stupid. You'll be happier with a $30 18-24L daypack and a nice 45-70L backpacking pack. I'd go 45L and max 55L. Your back and knees will thank you and you'll realize you don't need all the shit you think you do. I could go 30L, but I like to bring fishing equipment, a gun, some ammo to plink with, a couple of cans of beer, a 20oz or so frozen rib eye steal for the first night, a hammock in addition to my tent, and a comfy sleeping bag. I backpack in luxury and I only use 45L. Anyone who goes over 55L is either out for a month or more or they don't know what they're doing.
A jack of all trades is a master of none. 2 cheap packs is better than 1 expensive pack.
