Cross-posting from /diy/. I read the pastebin in the OP for mushroom growing, but I'm working with morel, not oyster or garden giants/SRA.
I've got a number of these coming in along my fence again this year, and after taking the time to figure out what type of mushroom they even were, I've come to find out that they're actually worth harvesting for deep-frying; apparently they're supposed to be really good. I've been reading up on it, and the process seems simple enough for cultivating them outside, but indoor cultivation read like brain surgery.
With that said, has anyone here attempted to cultivate them? If nothing else, I'd like to attempt to move them to some other, more protected spots in my yard so that they don't get accidentally mowed or stepped on, and if there's anyone with experience cultivating them indoors, I'd be interested in what it took.
